Remember that for Canadians CIBC is offering a 100% fee rebate with $500 minimum spend on it’s premium travel rewards cards which means an easy 15,000 Aeroplan points with a churn. Check out this post for details.

Here is the commentary from Gary and Ben. I don’t have Delta status or Delta cards so meh. Skyteam is so overrated!

American is offering a 30% bonus on shared (transferred) miles, which is a bad deal for outright buying miles because the numbers work out to just around 3 cents per mile. I find transferring miles sort of dumb especially with these tiered bonuses because clearing out accounts with small balances aren’t useful at all in this situation and if you had a lot of miles, just gain enough trust with the person having the miles to use their account.

shareAAmiles® Terms and Conditions: Members must transfer 5,000-50,000 miles in a single per transaction through the shareAAmiles® program beginning 12:00 am Central Time, June 3, 2013, until 11:00 pm Central Time, July 1, 2013, to be eligible for the applicable bonus miles. The recipient of the shared miles will receive the applicable bonus miles. Transfers between 5,000 and 25,000 miles will earn 20% of the mileage shared in bonus miles. Transfer between 26,000 and 40,000 will earn 25% of the mileage shared in bonus miles. Transfers between 41,000 and 50,000 will earn 30% of the mileage shared in bonus miles. Please allow 72 hours for transferred AAdvantage® miles to post to the designated AAdvantage account.

Turkish Airlines has confirmed a IST-SYD route. Very interesting move which will clock in at 8,076 miles and it will certainly be an interesting Ultra-Long Haul flight. New route are always good! HT: Point me to the Plane

The list of Last Minute Reward Nights with IHG at 50% are also out. There are 37 hotels and 3 of them are Intercontinental, although I’m not interested in staying at any of them. Check out this site for the full list.

Happy Tuesday!
