It seems that Hyatt is sending out targeted stay offers for your next few stays, so check your email to see if you’re targeted. I received an offer for 5,000 bonus points for 5 stays between May 1 and July 31.
Others in the FT thread have gotten anywhere from 2k points for one stay to 1k points for each stay. Certainly nothing to shift your loyalty or planned stays to Hyatt if you’re targeted, but a nice bonus especially since I’m already considering a Diamond challenge during that period, and with your amenity bonus, this bonus, the Diamond challenge bonus, and earning from paid rates you’re looking at a very decent return.
The link in the email redirects me to http://hyatthotels.hyatt.com/partnerlandingpage/en/5KENGAGE5J/confirmation.html which is a generic page, so I’d assume there’s something in the email that lets Hyatt know that I registered for the promotion.
