One of the rewarding cards out there is the Scotiabank Gold American Express. It is one of only two cards letting you earn up to a 4% return on your purchases, the other being the Scotiabank Momentum Visa Infinite. What I love about the Scotiabank AMEX Gold is that it not only has a great signup offer, but also stellar earning capabilities on everyday purchases.
You earn 4 points per $1 spent at gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants and bars, and entertainment, up to $50,000 per calendar year. If you maximize the category, you could earn 400,000 points in your first twelve months of card membership! Even though it’s a premium American Express card, the minimum income required is only $12,000. That means nearly everyone with good credit is eligible to apply. These benefits are on top of their great signup bonus.

Scotiabank AMEX Gold Extended Offer
With the Scotiabank Gold American Express, you earn 30,000 points after $750 spend in three months. This offer has been extended until October 31, 2017. When redeeming for travel, these points are worth $300. You also enjoy a first year annual fee waiver, which means the card gets you $300 of travel free.
Redeeming Scotia Rewards are easy. These points are great because you can book your own travel instead of needing to go through the program’s booking system. All you have to do is charge the eligible purchase to your card, and then apply points to that travel transaction after it posts on your statement.
This means, for example, that you can redeem your points on the taxes of award tickets. For example, Aeroplan and Avios Redemptions appear as Air Canada and BA charges.
By redeeming points on these purchases with the card, your flights could be completely $0 out-of-pocket. Overall, the Scotiabank Gold AMEX is a great addition to your portfolio and I highly recommend it.
Offer valid until Oct 31, 2017. Apply for the Scotiabank Gold American Express today!
