However, that is not the best offer. There has always been a offer which gives 21,000 points with this link. Note that this credit card is only available to Canadians. (The US offer gives 25,000 points).  So even though there might be fanfare about this promotion, be sure to look for the best offer when you’re applying!

I personally love this card for everyday spend for its 1.25 points per dollar earned as well as the flexibility for being able to transfer to both Aeroplan, American, Alaska, and Avios. I would say that it is probably the best card for everyday spend without bonus categories.
