Uber is offering a $20 Credit on your first ride if you sign up before January 20th. You can use my code UBERCKMS or my link here and I get $20 too. I’ve used it many times and I feel it’s really convenient although a bit pricy. Feel free to leave your own link below as well.

You can book with that the link Aeroplan provides you when you log in and get a code. For example, here is my dBlack link direct to Fairmont. I believe that you’ll need to book with Best Available Rate (BAR) for these offers. An alternative to these rates might be AMEX FHR and other luxury hotel rates, which I wrote about here.
You can now register for the following hotel promotions if you have paid stays coming up:
Club Carlson: Earn 38,000 bonus points with three stays
Hyatt Endless Possibilities: Cat 1-4 Certificate after five nights OR up to 50,000 Bonus Points
Starwood Bring on the Earnings: 2,500 bonus points for every 5 eligible stays
Air Canada has had wifi on just a very few of planes which generally do the LAX-YYZ/YUL routes. I was lucky enough to get it once on a YVR-EWR flight. I think wifi on domestic flights would be extremely useful.
There are increased offers for several credit cards.
The Chase Southwest Credit Cards for Americans are back at 50,000 points, and I’m sure you can find a link somewhere.
Of course since everyone manages to talk about the Barclay ArrivalCard it is a 40,000 points. Click here
And no, I didn’t forget to put in my affiliate links for both those cards. 😉
With Canadian Cards,
CIBC has a 20,000 points offer for the Aerogold Infinite until the 30th of March, with annual fee first year waived. The minimum spend is $500.CIBC
The TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite now has a 15,000 points signup offer and first year fee waived if you go in-branch. Applying online will not get the annual fee waived.
Of course, the AMEX Canada cards have great offers as always:
- AMEX Aeroplan Gold – 30k after $500 spend, First Year Annual Fee Waived
- AMEX Plat 60k with $1000 spend (Canada)
- AMEX Aeroplan Gold – 30k after $500 spend, First Year Annual Fee Waived
- AMEX SPG – 21k after $1000 spend

Still think AMEX blows them away.
Look at the total points and final cost(annual fee) of those 4 AMEX cards.
I thought TD would have come out stronger.
Jeff,
Do you know if I can the bonus from TD if I do a product change? I have a TD Gold select, and don’t want to get a hit on my credit report.
Not sure. I think you’d probably know find the answer if you call a TD branch and ask.
