For those returning, you may have noticed (actually you should have noticed… ;0) that there are several new updates to the interface of my site. First, in addition to the subscription on the top right of the screen, there is another subscription box in the sidebar. Note that these are different. The new subscription is an option to receive a daily email containing all the day’s posts. That’s interesting and nice (or not), but the most important secrets, tricks, and tips will be available earliest (and sometimes only) through the link at the top right, because it doesn’t coincide with daily blog posts.

Also, more obvious is the giant slideshow of travel heaven. For those who haven’t paid attention, here they are again:

Cathay Pacific is an incredibly easy and amazing first class airline that anyone who has the ability to open credit cards have to get. No question at all.

This picture is for the opportunists. The A380 suites usually aren’t available on points redemptions, but there’s been several opportunities to get them, the easiest being the mistake fare ex-RGN a month or so ago.

This picture is a property that I’m itching to try out, more so because of SPG’s 50% promotion. With revenue rates of ~400USD, there’s no way I would have paid for it but now it’s a redemption that is possible and pretty valuable.
